Del Maguey Las Milpas is a single village mezcal made from 100% Espadin agave. It is produced in the village of Las Milpas, located in the municipality of San Luis del Rio in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico. This mezcal is made using traditional methods, including roasting the agave in an underground pit, crushing it with a horse-drawn tahona, and fermenting it in open-air wooden vats. The result is a smoky, earthy mezcal with notes of cooked agave, citrus, and herbs.
