Hirsch Cask Strength Kentucky Straight Bourbon Finished in Cognac Cask is a limited edition bourbon from the Hirsch Small Batch Reserve series. This bourbon is made from a blend of two-year-old and four-year-old bourbons that have been aged in new, charred American oak barrels. The bourbon is then finished in Cognac casks for an additional six months. The result is a bold and complex bourbon with notes of caramel, oak, and spice. The finish is smooth and slightly sweet with a hint of cognac. This bourbon is bottled at a cask strength of 115.2 proof, making it a great choice for sipping neat or on the rocks.
