It is made from a mash of at least 51% rye, and aged for a minimum of four years in charred oak barrels. The whiskey has a deep amber color and a nose of sweet vanilla, oak, and spice. On the palate, it is smooth and creamy, with notes of caramel, toffee, and baking spices. The finish is long and warming, with a hint of pepper. Knob Creek 100 Proof Small Batch Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey is best enjoyed neat or on the rocks.
