This limited edition whiskey is from Buffalo Trace’s Kentucky distillery and has an aroma of toasted spice, pepper, and sweet rye, along with hints of dried cherries. The palate of this whiskey is complex and bold, with flavors of nutmeg, clove, and orange peel giving way to a hint of cinnamon and tobacco. The finish is long and spicy, with a smooth balance of oak and toffee. Rated a 95 by the Ultimate Spirits Challenge and a double gold medal recipient from the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, this is one of Buffalo Trace’s most sought-after expressions.
