The Buffalo Trace Experimental Collection Oversized Barrel 500L is an ultra-premium American whiskey bottled at 375ml and aged in specially crafted 500L barrels for an incredibly smooth and richly flavored whiskey. This limited edition whiskey is made with a creamy mash bill of malt, rye, wheat, and barley, which is then masterfully aged in the 500L barrels for over a decade. The whiskey is double distilled before it is barreled in the oversized vessels, allowing for an even extraction and a mellow, smooth finish. As it is aged in these parcels, the whiskey gains unique flavors, such as layers of sweet oak, toffee, and hints of honey. The beer is then bottled at high proof and ready to enjoy!
