Claque Pepin Calvados Vieille Reserve is produced by Domaine Mortaigne in Normandy, France. This top-shelf Calvados is expertly crafted in traditional French fashion from a blend of fine cider apples, harvested from the orchards of Normandy. The apples are slowly fermented and double distilled in alembic stills, then aged for at least four years in oak barrels to develop its smooth character. The rich amber colour of Claque Pepin Calvados Vieille Reserve is complemented by notes of ripe apple, fresh herbs, toasted oak, caramel, and baking spices on the palate. This full-bodied Calvados is perfect for sipping neat or in cocktails.
