Del Maguey Madrecuixe 750 ml
Del Maguey Madrecuixe is a single village mezcal made from 100% Espadin agave. It is produced in the village of San Luis del Rio in Oaxaca, Mexico. The agave is cooked in a traditional underground oven and then crushed with a horse-drawn tahona. The juice is fermented in open-air wooden vats and then double-distilled in copper stills. The result is a smoky, earthy mezcal with notes of citrus, herbs, and spice. Del Maguey Madrecuixe is best enjoyed neat or in a classic mezcal cocktail.
