Middle West Spirits Double Cask Collection Ported Pumpernickel Rye Double Barrel Matured 5 year is a unique and complex whiskey that is aged in two different barrels. The first barrel is a new American oak barrel that is charred to impart a rich, smoky flavor. The second barrel is a port barrel that has been aged for five years. This whiskey has a deep, dark color and a complex flavor profile that includes notes of caramel, toffee, dried fruit, and spice. The finish is smooth and slightly sweet. This whiskey is perfect for sipping neat or in a classic cocktail.
