Mount Gay Black Barrel is a premium rum from Barbados. It is made from a blend of double-distilled pot and column still rums that are aged in charred oak barrels. The rum is then finished in heavily charred ex-bourbon barrels, giving it a unique flavor profile. The nose is sweet and spicy with notes of vanilla, caramel, and oak. The palate is smooth and creamy with flavors of toffee, molasses, and spice. The finish is long and lingering with a hint of smokiness. Mount Gay Black Barrel is perfect for sipping neat or in a variety of cocktails.
